People in Sudan face escalating violence and danger

With the civil war continuing to rage across Sudan, civilians continue to suffer the brunt of the violence. 7.3 million people have been displaced, and 24.7 million are in need of humanitarian assistance.

More than 10,000 civilians have now been killed and thousands more injured as heavy fighting continues throughout residential areas. Hospitals are surrounded and quickly depleting of supplies, preventing the wounded from accessing desperately needed medical care — 70% of healthcare facilities in Sudan have shut down since the fighting began in April 2023.

How your donation can help the people of Sudan

Islamic Relief is currently on the ground providing urgent medical supplies, fuel and food to hospitals, as well as food, water, cash assistance and psychosocial support. We are providing aid to both host communities and internally displaced communities in Darfur, North and South Kordofan, Gedaref, Sennar, Blue Nile, and Central Darfur states.

You can help ease the burden of this conflict for the people of Sudan by donating towards our life-saving work for both displaced and host families.
